The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed in regards to the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service sassa status the area every sassa status check day. The assistance place created for intervention encounters a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing sassa status of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
